Mikko Paunonen

Mikko is a human performance coach with expertise in biomechanics, strength and conditioning, nutrition and mental coaching.

Mikko is a licensed Personal trainer, Life Coach, Sport Massage therapist and Nutrition Coach. He has studied in e.g. at the London Naturopathic Academy, CHEK Institute and KILO strength society (in the United States and Britain), where he specialized in the areas of kinesiology, biomechanics, mental coaching, strength and conditioning and nutrition. He has also been chosen as one of the international mentors of the CHEK institute.

Mikko was one of the founders of Finland biggest health and wellness organization and has worked as educator, lecturer and public speaker on Finland’s top educational organizations. He has also been a creator and lead designer of several group fitness concepts in Finland and sport world experience as being an educator, concept designer and instructor in Gymstick International, Reebok, Les Mills, and in many other group fitness organizations.

Mikko has written several books and articles of training, nutrition and overall wellness. In addition, he has worked with several sport teams and top athletes all the way from Martial Arts to Finnish ice hockey SM-league, NHL and Slovakian ice hockey National team players.

Nowadays, he is studying neurology and neuroscience in the USA to understand human behavior, and especially more in-depth knowledge how our brain and other sensory systems of the body works in different situations such as under the stress, pain or in performance and how to optimize it. On top of that, to be able to understand the ”source code” of human being, Mikko is also studying in the Shaolin Europe the ways and methods of the Shaolin monks.
